**Department**
MARKETING ANALYSIS & PLANNING

**Primary purpose of job**:

- Provide critical analysis to assess annual sales of petroleum and/or chemical products from State of Qatar.- Develop a short-term market outlook for management integrating a variety of internal and external inputs.
- Serve as a member of the Integrated Business Team.
- Review and support proposed sales plans, validating this against current market dynamics and sales strategies for

supporting Marketing and Shipping activities.
- Provide input in terms of shipping fixtures with the aim of maximizing netbacks.
- Ensure benchmarks are established for sales plans are appropriate.
- Providing unbiased market intelligence, analysis, planning and performance evaluation.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Minimum 7 years or equivalent experience, 5 years in the oil and/or petrochemical industry or related experience
- preferably from trading background in the same products.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Oil and Gas and/or Petrochemical industry in one or more of the following products:
marketing/trading, market analysis of crude oil, field condensate, transportation fuels, LPG, naphtha, bunker oil, polymers,
- or chemicals.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment with mínimal functional supervision.
- Strong fundamental understanding in economic analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Sound ability in developing and making senior management presentations.

**Education**:

- Undergraduate degree in engineering, economics, business or equivalent.
