**Department**
MAINTENANCE - DUKHAN

**Primary purpose of job**
Direct, Inspect, coordinate & provide technical advisory service within the Department on all aspects of mechanical

maintenance such as repair, troubleshooting, routine inspection, detailed fault diagnosis and shutdown activities of all

mechanical equipment’s such as vertical and horizontal pumps, compressors, surface pumps, generators, vessels,
exchangers and other associated piping and equipment in support of production operations in order to ensure their safe

and efficient operational availability and reliability at all times.

1) Directs and manages the work of assigned personnel in all inspection, routine maintenance, and break down repair of

static and rotating equipment. Ensures that all maintenance activities are carried out in a timely, safe, and cost effective

manner. Responsible for continuously improving SAP KPIs for Mechanical Discipline and to reduce backlog orders.

2) Review ongoing maintenance work through regular liaison with production personnel. Review planned maintenance

schedules and ensure implementation of the same, whilst identifying the requirement for contract services. Reviews the

spare parts requirements including the overall spares for major equipment overhauls. Raises the necessary material

requisitions and stock proposal forms as necessary.

3) Assign work to subordinates with details of scheduling, permits required and any particular technical or special

requirement. Participates in the preparation of JSA, conducts Tool Box Talks as required.

4) Liaise closely with area Production supervisors along with multi-disciplinary engineers in sorting out any problems in the

plant during COPT meeting and agrees on the necessary action to improve operational reliability and efficiency.

5) Ensures that the planned maintenance routines prepared by the Planning section/division are carried out. Reviews

planning programs and advises/feedback information useful for future consideration to the planning section. Review of

necessary lifting plans as per procedure. Follows up & ensures updation and completion of SAP WO with operation line

confirmation, manpower, corrective actions etc.

**Experience & Skills**
Minimum 10 years experience in oil ad gas industry and 3 years in a supervisory role.

Experience in managing teams.

Excellent communication in english.
