will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings of steel structures based on architectural designs, structural blueprints, and project specifications. The role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the accuracy and quality of the drawings, while adhering to company standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Prepare Detailed Drawings**: Create detailed technical drawings for steel structures, including columns, beams, trusses, and frameworks, based on project specifications and standards.
- **Draft Structural Layouts**: Develop plans and elevations for steel structures that align with architectural designs and ensure structural integrity.
- **Interpret Design Requirements**: Analyze and interpret architectural and structural design concepts to accurately translate them into technical drawings.
- **Revise and Update Drawings**: Modify and update drawings as required by engineers and architects, ensuring all changes are reflected in the final designs.
- **Collaborate with Engineers and Architects**: Work closely with structural engineers, project architects, and other team members to ensure designs meet project requirements and comply with industry standards.
- **Material Quantification**: Assist in preparing steel material take-offs and quantification for procurement and estimation purposes.
- **Ensure Compliance with Standards**: Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- **Support Fabrication Processes**: Provide detailed fabrication drawings and guidelines for steel fabricators and contractors.
- **Project Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and documentation for future reference.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in steel structural drafting, preferably in construction or steel fabrication industries.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or other related drafting software.
- **Knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of steel structures, materials, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with local building codes and international steel standards.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
