**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead front-of-house and kitchen staff.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff to provide excellent service.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Monitor and manage employee performance, providing feedback and support.
- Resolve staff conflicts and address any issues that arise promptly.
- Ensure that all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Handle customer complaints, concerns, and feedback in a calm and effective manner.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
- Ensure all food and drinks are delivered to the correct tables and at the appropriate temperature.
- Oversee the daily operations of the café/restaurant to ensure smooth service.
- Ensure proper cleanliness and organization of the café/restaurant, including dining areas, kitchens, and restrooms.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock orders, and ensure waste is minimized.
- Ensure the restaurant’s equipment and facilities are well-maintained and operational.
- Ensure health and safety compliance, including food safety standards.
- Assist in managing the café/restaurant budget, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
- Oversee cash handling, process payments, and balance daily sales records.
- Monitor the performance of the restaurant and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all local food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor and enforce strict hygiene standards for staff and food handling.
- Conduct regular safety checks and training for staff regarding food safety and workplace safety.
- Maintain open communication with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and promote special events, menu items, and promotions.
- Assist with menu planning, suggesting new ideas for seasonal offerings or special events.
- **Other Duties**:

- Perform opening and closing duties as required.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a café, restaurant, or food service environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Basic understanding of financial management and budgeting.
