Marine Electrician

**Qualifications**:

- I.T.I. training or Technical training school certificate in electrical trade
- Minimum 5 year experience in similar trade
- Heavy industry experience in electrical equipment.
- Shipyard experience will be preferred.

**Task Description**:

- To perform all the marine electrical works in the shipyard as per the direct instruction of electrical foreman.
- Installation of various electrical equipment system onboard vessels.
- Overhauling of motors and alternators.
- Troubleshooting of electrical system such as power distribution panel, yard equipment's and ship system, etc.)
- Engine alarm, monitoring system, checking, repairing and making of alarm panels.
- Capable to carry out cabling, crimping, termination of electrical equipment.
- Basic concept and procedure of onboard electrical activities.
- Generator synchronization and load sharing and situ system.
- Repairing of generator, Navigation lights, steering control, bow thruster, Etc.
- Inspection and testing of main switch board.
- Ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with the divisions Quality Assurance procedures, Quality Manuals and HSSE procedures.
- Operation of stress reliving machine and prepare reports and measure hardness.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
