**Qualifications**:

- Secondary school certificate or ITI certificate or similar in electrical trade
- 6 years’ experience in a similar trade
- Heavy industry experience in electrical equipment is a must
- Shipyard experience will be preferred.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English Language. Knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage

**Task Description**:

- Know how maintain plant electrical machinery and marine works;
- Overhaul electrical equipment;
- Trouble shoot and repair electrical equipment;
- Check and repair engine alarm and monitoring system;
- Make alarm panels; Repair generator, Navigation lights, steering control, bow thruster, etc.;
- Inspect and test main switch board;
