**Job Summary**:
As a Home Appliances Technician in the hospital's Facilities Management department, your primary responsibility is to ensure the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of various home appliances and equipment within the healthcare facility. This role is essential for creating a comfortable and functional environment for both patients and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Appliance Maintenance and Repair**:

- Perform routine maintenance on home appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, and other common devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in appliances and repair or replace defective components.

**Installation and Upgrades**:

- Install new home appliances as needed, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
- Stay informed about the latest technologies and recommend upgrades to improve efficiency and energy conservation.

**Scheduled Inspections**:

- Conduct regular inspections of home appliances to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Create and follow a preventive maintenance schedule for all appliances.

**Documentation and Record-keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of appliance maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Document the condition of appliances during inspections and provide reports to the Facilities Manager.

**Compliance with Safety Standards**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when performing maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure that all appliances meet safety standards and regulations.

**Inventory Management**:

- Keep an organized inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for appliance maintenance and repairs.
- Notify the Facilities Manager of any shortages or the need for new supplies.

**Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other departments, such as Environmental Services and Patient Services, to address appliance-related needs and concerns.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of appliances and replacement parts.

**Training and Development**:

- Stay current with industry trends and participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.
- Provide guidance and training to hospital staff on the proper use and care of appliances.

**Qualifications**:

- ITI in Electrical/ Electronic with technical certification in appliance repair preferred.
- Proven experience as a home appliances technician, preferably in a healthcare or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of a variety of home appliances and their repair methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,100.00 per month
