Job Summary:
Duties included:

- Implements the layout necessary to achieve a desire pattern or design
- Measures and marks surfaces to be tiled
- Constructs underbeds and sets anchor bolts, wires and brackets
- Mixes, applies, and spreads plaster, concrete, mortar, cement mastic, glue, or other adhesive to apply, seal, and finish tile and marble flooring, counters, or walls
- Uses levels, squares, straightedges, and hand or power cutting tools to complete jobs
- Ensures masonry materials are properly aligned and straightened
- Cuts and shapes tiles as needed, making precision cuts to fit around objects and into abnormal spaces and corners
- Levels concrete and ensures that proper dry time is followed
- Finishes, dresses and cleans joints and grout
- Performs other related duties, as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Thorough understanding of materials, methods, and tools involved in the process
- Able to make reasonable estimates of sizes, distances, and quantities
- Able to identify the materials, resources, and costs and time needed to complete the works

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
