**Responsibilities and Daily Duties Typically Include**:

- Verbal screening: ensuring that all users are safe to participate and are advised of what to do if they are not. This would mean sending for doctor clearance or passing on to more qualified colleagues.
- Promote the benefits of Pilates and overall general health benefits of exercise.
- Assist in the promotion and marketing of the Pilates area programs.
- Teach Pilates classes for a range of clients, ranging from 45mins to 1 hour and 30 mins.
- Teach 1-to-1 Pilates or small groups, focusing more on individual attention and designing Pilates programs based on posture types and ability.
- Creating a welcoming environment, putting clients at ease Engaging class participants, and encouraging client retention. Understand the client’s goals and build rapport.
- Maintain the high standard of ethical and professional behavior when treating and dealing with patients
- Check the area for safety and report any risks.
- Teach classes of mixed ability, catering to varying needs within a class and offering adaptations and progressions as well as modifications where necessary.
- Offer variety in class, using variations of the Pilates methods and the use of small equipment
- Offer specialized Pilates for common orthopedic conditions/older adult/pre and post-natal - depending on qualifications.
- If full-time employed, the role may include other duties such as reception work or gym floor work, depending on other qualifications. Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the rehab department.
- General tidying away of mats and equipment to ensure they are kept clean and tidy.
- Demonstrates an active participation in staff professional development activities (Ease reviews, workshop)
- Attend and participate in a weekly management meeting, as requested by the management team.
- Any other task as assigned by management on a time-to-time basis as per the organization's needs.
