The Technical Manager will oversee and manage all technical aspects of ongoing and future construction projects at Al Hamal Trading and Contracting W.L.L. With an architectural background and holding a valid **UPDA (Urban Planning and Development Authority)** certification, the Technical Manager will ensure that projects meet the highest design, construction, and regulatory standards. The role will involve close coordination with design, engineering, and project management teams to deliver efficient, high-quality projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Oversight and Management**:

- Oversee and manage the technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to **design specifications**, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve architectural designs, construction drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of architectural and technical components.
- Provide technical expertise and support in the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- **Design and Documentation**:

- Coordinate with architects, designers, and consultants to finalize design concepts, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Ensure that all architectural and engineering drawings are accurate, detailed, and meet the necessary standards and regulations.
- Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and samples in line with project requirements.
- Lead the development and updating of technical documentation, ensuring that all designs are well-documented and approved by relevant authorities.
- **Team Leadership and Collaboration**:

- Lead and manage the technical team, ensuring that all members are aligned with project objectives and deliverables.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior architects, engineers, and support staff.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during construction.
- **Risk Management and Problem-Solving**:

- Identify potential risks related to project designs and technical aspects, proposing solutions to mitigate those risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving any architectural or technical challenges on-site, ensuring that solutions are practical and compliant with design intent.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to ensure that all technical specifications are met.
- **Client and Stakeholder Communication**:

- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and ensure their satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the technical progress of projects to senior management and clients.
- Assist in technical presentations, meetings, and discussions as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **architecture**:

- Valid **UPDA** certification is mandatory.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum **8-10 years** of experience in architectural and technical management within the construction industry.
- Proven track record in managing the technical aspects of large-scale construction projects.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction processes, and project management.
