Qatar Airways is looking for highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect for Cloud to join our fast-paced team. As a Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that align with our business goals and technical requirements. You will be responsible for leading the architectural design and technical decisions related to cloud infrastructure and services.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Design and develop cloud-based architectures, frameworks, and solutions that align with the organization's overall business objectives and requirements.
- Work closely with Cyber Security to implement security and compliance recommendations.
- Experience working in lift & shift migration projects
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security in cloud architecture designs.
- Lead and mentor cloud engineering and development teams in best practices and cloud architecture principles.
- Conduct performance assessments and recommend optimizations for cloud-based systems.
- Monitor cloud resources to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost management.
- Create clear and well-structured architectural documentation, including system diagrams, technical specifications, design principles, and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud architecture and implementation and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:
**About You**
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Sciences /IT management or equivalent qualification with Minimum 9 years of experience in IT and 6 years job relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge on Cloud Adoption & Well-Architected Frameworks
- Strong expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, and DevOps principles.
- Excellent understanding of security, compliance, and best practices for cloud environments.
- Proficiency in cloud automation and orchestration tools.
- Solid programming and scripting skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
