About the role

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to join our amazing team who:

- Is an outstanding and passionate practitioner
- Has experience in teaching English from Grades 6 to 12
- Has experience teaching English High School Diploma, IB Diploma English Language and Literature (A) or A Level equivalent would be advantageous
- Is passionate about teaching and learning with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Will be committed to the vision of igniting passion, purpose and potential in our students
- Can contribute to the development of the English Department offering creative opportunities to enrich the learning experience of students at THIS
- Adapts the curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress
- Assesses and records student development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement
