OPERATED OFFSHORE OIL FIELD DEVELOPMENT

**Primary purpose of job**
Responsible for technical proposal, recommendation, design, execution and analysis of petroleum engineering activities of

Idd El-Shargi Field, including all aspects of well surveillance, workover, planning new wells, rigless well work (from job

design to on-site implementation), well/field network performance modelling /optimization and reservoir management

activities that include including detailed/integrated development plans for underdeveloped hydrocarbon resources.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Must have minimum of 10 years of related work experience as a Petroleum Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry with
demonstrated Surveillance / Reservoir Engineering / Production Engineering / Field Development expertise in optimizing

well production in large oil and gas fields.
- Proven experience at recommending remedial well work solutions for oil and gas wells in heterogeneous reservoirs.
- Must have highly developed skills and extensive experience with periodic production rate testing for wells and allocation of

well test/production data.
- Must be highly skilled and experienced in transient well test design and interpretation, material balance modelling and

performance prediction including decline curve analysis.
- Experienced in design, execution, and post performance analysis of acid stimulation of carbonate reservoirs.
- General understanding of production surface facilities and well integrity management.
- Experienced and highly skilled with tubing & IPR modelling and Gas Lift design/troubleshooting.
- Experience with designing programs for and performing interpretation of cased hole production and diagnostic logs.
- Must have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills in a multidisciplined environment. International experience working in

a multicultural environment is a plus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and persuasively and in a professional manner with peers, field staff and

management.
** Education**:

- Minimum of a BSc or MSc degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
