OPERATED OFFSHORE OIL FIELD DEVELOPMENT

**Primary purpose of job**
Perform production engineering activities for QatarEnergy-operated oil fields. Responsibilities include production

monitoring, well test analysis, surveillance, production optimization, and coordinating workover and interventions. As part of

an interdisciplinary team, the Senior Production Engineer will also contribute to reservoir management, development

planning, and project execution.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Petroleum Engineering within the Oil and Gas industry, specializing in Surveillance,
Reservoir, and Production Engineering, and Field Development.
- Expertise in optimizing well production for large oil and gas fields.
- Proficient in well and field performance evaluation, using integrated production system modeling tools like material

balance, Nodal Analysis, and surface network software (e.g., PROSPER, GAP).
- Experience in daily production monitoring, well surveillance, and troubleshooting gas lift and ESP operations to ensure

well productivity and uptime.
- Skilled in using digital tools such as PI Vision, Avocet, OFM, and IVM/IFM for production monitoring, optimization, and well

diagnostics.
- Proficient in well test validation and supporting calibration of well test flow meters.
- Strong ability to conduct technical analysis for accurate well allocation, downtime tracking, and production KPI reporting.
- Experience in downhole remediation practices, field operations, and preparing operational procedures.
- Proven ability to evaluate and deploy new technologies for gas lift and ESP systems.
- Skilled in preparing and programming field/well opportunities, including surveillance plans and business plan support.
- Regular field visits for gas lift/ESP operations such as commissioning, optimization, evaluation, and well servicing.
- Experience in leading technical studies, preparing reports, and delivering presentations.
- Expertise in well performance analysis, fluid dynamics, and production assurance.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, safety practices, and environmental standards.
- Experience in interpreting cased hole production and diagnostic logs.
- Strong teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment, with international and multicultural experience being an

advantage.
- Effective communication with peers, field staff, and management.
- Ability to mentor Qatari associates and developees in gas lift/ESP operations.

Software Knowledge/ Experience
- Proficient with Production Data Management Systems (e.g., Avocet, OFM)..
