**Assistant Resident Engineer**:

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- **The Assistant Resident Engineer shall be responsible to assist the Resident Engineer to leading and supervise a team of multi engineering disciplines staff and contractor.**:

- **Receives and issues all approved construction drawings and specifications; ensures that all outdated documents are revised. Maintains construction drawing and specification files**:

- **Ensures that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures.**:

- **Monitors discipline construction schedules and assists in progress appraisal. Monitors material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline.**:

- **Maintains a daily log for permanent record of project construction, as well as discipline data for the final project turnover and report.**:

- **Assists in eliminating any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees.**:

- **Helps ensure that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standards.**:

- **Assists in the preparation of construction work schedules.**:

- **Maintains construction technical catalogs, supplier data, and other literature pertaining to the project.**:

- **May provide functional guidance to craft personnel.**:
**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**:

- **Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with 12 years demonstrable experience in all aspects of supervision of similar size sewerage networks projects.**:

- **Experience must include all environmental protection aspects of the construction of large sewerage projects with particular emphasis on Micro tunneling works, procedures, machinery setup, monitoring micro tunnel site activities (jack, laser setting tunneling), review drive records, must process the knowledge of surveying methods and techniques.**:

- **Must demonstrate skills to review and justify technical proposals evaluate its constructability, solving technical problem that may rise during construction.**:

- **Particular emphasis on Quality Assurance Specifications and Statistical Quality Control. Should be able to review and justify the material submissions analyze laboratory and technical reports, carry out acceptance sampling plans, testing and quality measures, ensuring the compliance with the project’s Specifications.**:

- **Must have a sound knowledge about contractual relationships.**:

- **Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and in particular any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.**:

- **Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.**:
