**Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Manager**

**Qatar**

Parsons is working with regions leading public service utilities to orchestrate large scale O&M transformation programs that drives Service Delivery Excellence, Operational Efficiencies, Capability Building, Change Management, and Outsource Maximization.

The ICT Manager will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of IT systems including planning, implementing, operation, and maintenance. Key role includes supervision and maintenance of all ICT systems within client organization. The manager will ensure that ICT/ ITeS services run smoothly by monitoring performance, efficiency and security measures taken against any vulnerabilities in software/ solutions/hardware / filed devices used on a day-to-day basis, ensuring secure operation throughout every department.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT, ITeS and electronic data operations.
- Responsible for overseeing the security, integrity, and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring that systems are well maintained, and IT procedures are complied.
- Participates in the negotiations for installations, services, and maintenance agreements of all IT system, IT enabled services (ITeS) and ensuring that licensing and upgrades are kept up to date.
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
- Evaluate sub-contractors change orders, as appropriate.
- Develop monthly reports for management.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Degree in IT/ IT&C / Electronics Engineer with 10+ years of proven experience in the maintaining and operating large scale IT environment and integrated systems.
- Hands on knowledge of technical management, information analysis, IT/ITeS services, IT infrastructure, software/ digital programs and integrations
- Expertise in data centre management and data governance
- Experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Availability to work at site in the city of Doha, Qatar.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. Arabic an advantage.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required
