- The Costume Designer & Maker will need to create and produce designs from scratch, deliver them to the project team for sign off and then create bespoke items for individual characters, seeing the process through to creation and then onto repair and maintenance.

**The responsibility of the Costume Designer includes**:
Follow a schedule / timeline / deadlines
- Designing costumes in line with a clear concept of Trocadero brand
- Utilizing existing costumes to create new and bespoke character costumes the shows
- Working closely with the Entertainment team to ensure costumes are fit for purpose and that they engage with the characters
- Create templates, designs and order requests within the event & production budget.
- Technical skills in pattern cutting and strong sewing skills
- Confidently use an overlocker and industrial sewing machines
- Laundry and cleaning skills
- Maintain and order materials to sew new costumes
- Contact suppliers when needed and verify inventory
- Repair making of the costumes
- The ability to work with a wide range of fabrics and têxtiles.
- Dress and make up for performers for the shows
- Oversee Park wide costume design integrity and quality
- Provide and maintain effective communication with internal and all artistic production and operating team
- Be creative and innovative
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- Attend rehearsals, work with other performers, team members and staff crew
- Seek new ways to create memorable experiences for our guests.
- Be part of the design / creative team seeking and contributing with new ideas within the theme
- Be part of the overall annual entertainment and events plans
- Maintain the professional standards, requirements, assigned duties.
- Be kind and respectful to others team members
- Work flexible hours, including nights, holidays and weekends as per schedule
