**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Game Text Translation & Adaptation**: Accurately translate in-game content, dialogue, menus, instructions, and other text elements into Arabic. This isn’t about word-for-word translation — it's about conveying meaning, tone, and style in a way that resonates with Arabic players. Context matters.
- **Cultural Sensitivity & Localization**: Ensure all content aligns with local cultural, social, and religious norms. This means adjusting imagery, storylines, character designs, and references that could be seen as offensive or culturally inappropriate in different Arab countries.
- **Right-to-Left (RTL) Text Implementation**: Adapt game interfaces to support RTL text, ensuring that menus, buttons, and overall design flow correctly with Arabic script. This is a critical and technical aspect that often gets overlooked, but it’s non-negotiable.
- **Voiceover & Audio Localization**: If the game includes voice acting, collaborate with dubbing teams to ensure that the voiceover accurately conveys the original’s emotion and intent, using dialects (MSA or regional) that are most relatable to players.
- **QA & Linguistic Testing**: Conduct in-depth linguistic and cultural testing to ensure everything looks and sounds correct in the Arabic version. This includes verifying that text fits within UI elements, checking for broken links, and addressing any bugs or glitches related to Arabic script.
- **Collaboration with Developers & Designers**: Work closely with developers to ensure that technical constraints don’t interfere with language or cultural requirements. Also, collaborate with designers to make sure the game looks right when adjusted for Arabic — this can mean modifying everything from layout to font choices.
- **Market & Audience Understanding**: Stay up-to-date with trends in the Arab gaming market, from the types of games that resonate most to the buying habits and cultural events that influence mobile game consumption (e.g., Ramadan, Eid). Your understanding of these dynamics will drive decisions about pricing, in-app purchases, and game features.
- **Ensure Legal Compliance**: Make sure that the game adheres to the regulations in different Arabic-speaking countries, such as censorship laws, data privacy policies, and age ratings.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Fluency in Arabic (Native Speaker Preferred)**: You must be fully fluent in Arabic, with an exceptional grasp of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary. Understanding regional dialects is a major plus, but Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is a must.
- **Proven Experience in Game Localization**: This isn’t your first time localizing a game. You’ve worked on game projects before, preferably in mobile gaming, and know how to approach challenges like text expansion or RTL layout adaptation.
- **Cultural Expertise**: You need to be more than just familiar with Arabic culture — you need to have a deep, intrinsic understanding of its nuances, including societal norms, religion, and local taboos.
- **Attention to Detail**: Localization isn’t just about translating words. It’s about ensuring the game _feels_ like it was made for Arabic players. This means understanding tone, humor, and context, and adjusting where necessary to maintain immersion.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Experience with localization software like **Crowdin**, **Transifex**, or **MemoQ** is highly beneficial. Familiarity with right-to-left language challenges and UI/UX considerations for Arabic content is critical.
- **Communication Skills**: You will collaborate with game developers, designers, and marketing teams, so you need to clearly communicate your ideas, challenges, and solutions in both written and verbal forms.
