**Job Summary**:
As a Vehicle Inspector, you will be responsible for thoroughly examining vehicles to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. Your keen attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge of automotive mechanics will be essential in identifying any defects or issues that may compromise the safety or functionality of the vehicle. You will play a critical role in upholding regulatory compliance and maintaining the integrity of the automotive industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Conduct Inspections**: Perform detailed inspections of various types of vehicles including cars, trucks, buses, and motorcycles to assess their condition and compliance with regulatory standards.
- **Check Safety Features**: Inspect vehicle components such as brakes, steering, suspension, tires, lights, and seat belts to ensure they meet safety requirements and are in proper working condition.
- **Examine Documentation**: Review vehicle documentation including registration, insurance, and maintenance records to verify authenticity and compliance with legal requirements.
- **Test Drive Vehicles**: Conduct test drives to evaluate vehicle performance, handling, and responsiveness, and to identify any potential issues that may not be evident during stationary inspections.
- **Identify Defects**: Thoroughly examine vehicles for signs of damage, wear and tear, corrosion, and other defects that may affect safety, performance, or resale value.
- **Document Findings**: Record inspection findings accurately and comprehensively using digital or paper-based reporting systems, and communicate any issues or concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- **Recommend Repairs**: Provide recommendations for repairs or maintenance based on inspection findings, and advise vehicle owners or dealerships on necessary actions to address identified issues.
- **Stay Updated**: Stay informed about changes in automotive regulations, industry trends, and emerging technologies to ensure inspections are conducted in accordance with the latest standards and best practices.
- **Maintain Equipment**: Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated, maintained, and in good working condition to facilitate accurate and efficient inspections.
- **Customer Service**: Interact professionally with vehicle owners, dealerships, and other stakeholders, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the inspection process.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years Automotive Technology graduate. additional certification in automotive technology or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in automotive mechanics, vehicle inspection, or a related role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems, components, and maintenance practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or irregularities in vehicle conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools, diagnostic equipment, and computer software for recording and reporting findings.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and adhere to deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods during vehicle inspections.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required by regulatory authorities or employers.

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
