Cssd Specialist

**Job Summary**:
The CSSD Specialist will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Central Sterile Services Departments (CSSD) in healthcare facilities. This role involves ensuring that all surgical instruments, furniture, and equipment are properly sterilized, maintained, and ready for use, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene.

**Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to)**:

- Work with engineering teams to design and implement CSSD facilities in healthcare settings.
- Develop and improve sterilization and decontamination processes to maximize efficiency and maintain hygiene standards.
- Select and procure sterilization equipment and furniture that meets project specifications and client needs.
- Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of sterilization equipment and furniture.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sterilization.
- Maintain inventory levels of surgical instruments, furniture, and equipment, ensuring timely availability.
- Adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements related to CSSD services.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Medical Engineering/related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in in CSSD services
- Preferred with UPDA **Grade “A”**

**Required Skills**:

- Proficient in selecting and maintaining sterilization equipment and healthcare furniture.
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze and optimize sterilization processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sterilization are maintained.
