Fine Dining Restaurant Manager

**Starting salary**: QAR 8,000 - QAR 10,000 (Full package / All in)

**Position Overview**:
As a Fine Dining Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, and delivering an outstanding dining experience to guests. You will lead a team of professionals, manage daily operations, maintain high-quality standards, and drive revenue growth. Your role will involve strategic planning, staff management, guest relations, and financial administration.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Operational Management**:

- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including dining room, bar, kitchen, and private events.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor daily activities, resolve issues, and ensure smooth service flow, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between the front and back of house operations.
- Manage inventory levels, including food, beverages, and supplies, to optimize cost control and minimize waste.

**Team Leadership and Development**
- Hire, train, and supervise staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and professional growth.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of excellence.
- Set performance expectations, establish work schedules, and manage employee attendance and time off requests.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, address concerns, and foster a collaborative team environment.

**Guest Relations**:

- Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to all guests, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Maintain strong guest relationships, anticipating and exceeding their expectations to ensure a memorable dining experience.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Handle escalated guest issues with diplomacy, empathy, and effective problem-solving skills, aiming for swift and satisfactory resolutions.

**Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage the annual budget, forecasting revenue and expenses, and monitoring financial performance.
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Control costs through effective inventory management, labor scheduling, and supplier negotiations.
- Monitor pricing, menu engineering, and sales trends to optimize profitability while maintaining value for guests.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, including accurate and timely reporting, payroll administration, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

**Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, following local health department guidelines and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards or risks, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Train and educate staff on proper food handling, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food safety regulations and industry trends, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a restaurant manager or assistant manager in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with guests and staff.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and service standards.
- Proven financial acumen for budgeting, cost control, and profit optimization.
- Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills for guest satisfaction.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
