Job Purpose
- Be responsible for Sales activities for Power & Water sector, Materials business unit and Life Science business unit, with the capability to Independently engage with customers, manage customer accounts, identify opportunities & facilitate order intake, and ensure yearly sales targets are not only met but exceeded.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Accountable for independently executing sales activities for Yokogawa products and solutions tailored to the Power & Water sector, Materials/Specialty Chemicals business unit, and Life Science business unit to achieve yearly targets set as objectives and key results.
- Independently engage with customers in the Power & Water sector, Materials business unit, and Life Science business unit, managing customer accounts, identifying opportunities, and facilitating order intake to drive business development and revenue for Yokogawa. This includes:
- Managing the overall sales process from RFQ to purchase order or contract.
- Utilizing CRM/Sales Force for opportunity logging, updates as needed, accurate forecasting, and generating monthly reports.
- Preparing sales opportunity presentations and reports as required and reporting to the BU head.
- Ensure compliance to organizational policies, ethical & legal guidelines.
- Responsible for vendor registration and product qualification with Qatar-based end-user and contractor companies in the Power & Water sector, Materials/ Specialty Chemicals sector, and Life Science sector.
- Stay updated on market information relevant to the role's sector.
Qualification and Experience
- A minimum of 12 years of frontline sales experience in Qatar, preferably with esteemed vendors or system integrators.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Engineering Degree, or equivalent, in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- Proficient technical knowledge within the domain coupled with extensive sales experience in Qatar.
Required Competencies / skills
- Proficiency in MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point)
- Self-learner in product technology, organizational policies, procedure & process related to sales. Including new customer registration, export controls etc.
