- Job Function / Description:

- To perform general cleaning duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- To clean and wash dishes according to the established performance standards.
- To clean and wash pots, pans and other kitchen utensils according to performance standards.
- To handle operating equipment and kitchen equipment with care in order to reduce breakage to a minimum level.
- To empty rubbish bins in time and cleaning of them.
- To strictly adhere to the opening and closing procedures established for the department.
- To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all cleaning procedures, use of dish washing machines and the type of chemicals to be used.
- To ensure that the work area is kept clean and organized at all times.
- To understand and strictly adhere to the Club’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
- To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules and Regulations established in the Club’s Labour Agreement and Employees Handbook.
- To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag at all times
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- To maintain good rapport and working relationships with staff in the department and all other departments.
- To attend and contribute to all staff meetings and other related activities.
- To attend all training sessions organized by the Stewarding Supervisor or Training Department.
- To respond to any changes in the restaurant function as dictated by the Club.
- To assist in carrying out monthly inventory of operating equipment.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
