**QA / QC Manager**

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated QA/QC Manager to lead our growing team in Doha, Qatar.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Develops sampling plans and procedures for testing product quality. Maintains standards by verifying test results and audits comply with food safety regulations and requirements. Determines the optimal operating conditions for the laboratory's infrastructure and equipment and investigates technical faults or practices.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Develop and implement quality control systems: Design and implement comprehensive quality control systems, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), testing protocols, and inspection processes, to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct quality audits: Perform regular inspections and audits of production facilities, equipment, processes, and raw materials to identify any non-conformities or potential risks. Take corrective actions as necessary to maintain quality standards.

Monitor product quality: Establish and oversee quality assurance programs to monitor the quality and safety of food products at various stages of production. This includes conducting product sampling, testing, and analysis to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.

Manage quality documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to quality control activities, including test records, inspection reports, certifications, and supplier documentation. Ensure proper record-keeping and data management.

Supplier and vendor management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish quality standards for incoming raw materials and ingredients. Conduct audits and evaluations of suppliers to ensure they meet quality requirements and address any quality-related issues.

Continuous improvement initiatives: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization through data analysis and trend monitoring. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality gaps and enhance overall product quality.

Regulatory compliance: Stay up-to-date with local, national, and international food safety regulations and standards. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, certifications, and industry best practices.

**Communication & Working Relationships**

Responsible for providing frequent and consistent communication for each member of their team. Celebrating the teamwork, treating team members with respect, and providing them with specific and actionable feedback are critical when trying to facilitate a productive environment. A productive environment can enhance the overall morale of a team and contributes to a healthy culture.

Communication with municipality and MOPH when they come for inspection.

Communication with customers when they have any comment about our products.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**

RECOMMENDED COURSES: HACCP, ISO, Hygiene Standards, Time Management, Food Safety.

Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, or a related field. A master's degree may be preferred for advanced positions.

Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control within the food industry, preferably in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA) and industry standards.

Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, or SQF.

Experience in implementing and managing quality control processes and systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.

Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Proficiency in using quality control tools, statistical analysis software, and computer systems.

**Physical Requirements of the job**

Work involves moderate exposure to high temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.

Work environment involves potential exposure to hazards or physical risks, which requires following basic safety precautions.
