We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and creative Executive Chef to lead the culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned chef with expertise in both hot and cold kitchen operations, along with a deep understanding of pastry and bakery production. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen functions, menu creation, quality control, and team management while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Leadership & Kitchen Management**:

- Take full responsibility for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet the café's high standards.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the kitchen staff, including Sous Chefs, line cooks, pastry chefs, and kitchen assistants.
- Schedule shifts, delegate responsibilities, and maintain staffing levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring efficient teamwork.

**2. Menu Development & Innovation**:

- Develop and update the café’s menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and culinary trends.
- Create and implement new pastry, bakery, and savory dishes that align with the café’s vision, while maintaining balance across the hot, cold, and bakery sections.
- Work closely with management to introduce specials, limited-time offerings, and promotional items.

**3. Quality Control & Consistency**:

- Ensure that all dishes, from savory items to pastries and desserts, are consistently of the highest quality in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Conduct regular tasting and quality control sessions to maintain consistency across all kitchen sections.
- Oversee portion control, plating techniques, and food presentation to ensure adherence to the café's standards.

**4. Kitchen & Food Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, health codes, and cleanliness protocols across all kitchen areas.
- Monitor and enforce food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure food safety at all times.
- Conduct regular checks on kitchen equipment and maintain safety standards.

**5. Budgeting & Inventory Management**:

- Manage kitchen costs, including food and labor, to ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are well-stocked and ordered on time.
- Work with the café’s management to develop cost-effective solutions while maintaining high food quality.

**6. Staff Development & Training**:

- Provide training to kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety, customer service, and the café’s specific standards.
- Promote continuous learning and skill development among team members, ensuring that all staff are up-to-date on industry best practices.
- Implement performance reviews, feedback, and career growth plans to develop and retain talented kitchen staff.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Experience**:

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a culinary leadership role, with strong expertise in both hot and cold kitchen operations and pastry/bakery production.
- Proven track record of managing kitchen teams, developing menus, and maintaining high-quality standards in a café, bakery, or restaurant setting.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
