As a Planning Engineer in the Oil & Gas sector, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the planning aspects of various projects within the industry. Leveraging your 5 years of direct experience in Oil & Gas, along with a total of 10 years of professional expertise, you will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and optimizing project timelines and resources to ensure the successful execution of projects within specified parameters.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, considering all aspects of project execution, including procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Analyze project requirements, constraints, and risks to establish realistic project timelines and milestones.
- Monitor resource utilization and productivity throughout the project lifecycle, identifying potential bottlenecks and recommending solutions for optimization.
- Implement robust progress tracking mechanisms to monitor project performance against baseline schedules and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct variance analysis to identify causes of schedule slippage or deviations and propose corrective actions to mitigate delays.
- Identify project risks and uncertainties that may impact schedule adherence or project outcomes.
- Work closely with project teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential threats to project timelines.
- Proactively assess project risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement necessary adjustments to minimize their impact.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams, including engineering, procurement, construction departments.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and workshops to review progress, address challenges, and drive consensus on action plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, tools, and methodologies based on lessons learned and industry best practices.
- Participate in post-project reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures for future projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize competing demands.

Pay: From QAR8,500.00 per month
