Job Title**:Pastry Junior Sous Chef**

Monthly Salary**:QAR 4,000 **plus FREE accommodation and transportation

**Job Summary**: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pastry and Bakery Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will work closely with the Pastry and Bakery Sous Chef to ensure the smooth operation of our pastry and bakery department. You will be responsible for assisting in the planning, preparation, and execution of a wide range of pastries, bread, and baked goods. This position requires strong leadership skills, a creative mindset, and a passion for producing high-quality pastry and bakery products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Pastry and Bakery Sous Chef to plan and develop pastry and bakery menus, taking into account customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
- Assist in the creation and execution of a variety of pastries, bread, and baked goods, ensuring they meet quality and presentation standards.
- Supervise and train junior pastry and bakery team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Oversee the daily operations of the pastry and bakery department, ensuring efficient production and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry and bakery ingredients and supplies, ensuring they are properly stocked and stored.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen departments to coordinate menu offerings and ensure a cohesive culinary experience for customers.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas into the pastry and bakery offerings.
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, experimenting with flavors, textures, and presentation techniques.
- Assist in managing costs, portion control, and waste reduction in the pastry and bakery department.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker, with a strong focus on pastry and bakery operations.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
- Solid understanding of pastry and bakery techniques, including baking, cake decoration, bread-making, and dessert plating.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and a passion for pastry and bakery, with a desire to continually innovate and improve offerings.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations and the ability to enforce them.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
