Medical Receptionist/ Call Center

Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone and answering or referring inquiries.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
- Assists patients in completing necessary forms and documentation.
- Registers patients according to established protocols.
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
- Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation including medical insurance
- Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information
- Transfer calls as required.
- Keeping a clean and calm reception area.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
- Follows internal policies that includes, Insurance, Discounts, Schedules, and Cancellations.
- Follows the Line Manager’s General Policies such as Work Schedule, Proper Grooming and Hygiene and others.
- Other duties assigned from time to time.
