**About the Role**

**Essential Duties & responsibilities**
- Hosting various regulatory audits, BRC audit and retailer audits both announced and unannounced.
- To conduct audits as part of the internal audit team ensuring compliance with Legislation, BRC and retailer/ customer standards.
- Managing, completing and maintaining branded and own label product specifications for major retailer customers using their web-based systems.
- Managing, completing and maintaining in-house production specifications and supplier specifications
- Checking supplier specifications for compliance with Customer's Codes of Practice
- Reviewing and approving artwork for product labels and printed packaging, ensuring compliance with Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011 (FIC)
- Administration and completion of projects to assist in the compliance of the Quality Management System
- General office duties e.g. filing/ archiving
- Other duties required to assist the QA/ Technical team
- Covering holidays/ absenteeism within the QA/ Technical Department when required.

**Qualifications & Skills**
**Essential**
- Fluency of English Language both verbal and written
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Minimum Level 7 Qualification in relevant food related discipline.
- Strong Computing Skills
- especially proficient in the use of MS Office tools.
- Previous experience in hosting audits coupled with a good working knowledge of BRC Global Standard Food Safety.
- Previous experience in completing product specifications and working with retailer specification portals.
- Highly motivated individual showing strong organisational skills with the ability to work off their own initiative and multi-task.
- The ability to follow tasks and projects through to completion.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a face-paced work environment
