**1.1 Scope of Work**
The SERVICES shall include but not limited to the following:
**1. **Provide professional advice and develop safety processes for COMPANY rig leadership teams to assist in achieving our "Injury & Illness Free" vision
**2. **Support drilling operations in safety, health and emergency preparedness, especially in the areas of Life Saving Rules (LSR) and Critical Safe Work Practices
(CSWP) - training all personnel onboard with the COMPANY safety expectations.
**3. **Establish and monitor COMPANY safety key performance indicators (KPIs)
**4. **Support COMPANY emergency response plan and conduct periodic ER exercises
**5. **Participate in the development of safety cases for COMPANY
**6. **Manage the risk assessment process for rig operations i.e. Job Safety Analysis,
Last Minute Risk Assessments, Permit to Work Compliance Audit tool - PCAT
**7. **Use CONTRACTOR core competency and expertise to help COMPANY rig leadership teams to develop safety strategies to support successful execution of operations
**9. **Organize and participate in investigations and follow-up of incidents as requested, including development of corrective action plans, providing root cause analysis expertise, when required
CONTRACTOR safety, best practices, manuals & guides, assessments,
LSRs, etc. c. Special projects and initiatives development and deployment d. Data analysis - collect, analyze, and report data on leading and lagging indicators on safety performance and or safety initiatives, making recommendations on improvement opportunities and new safety initiatives - consolidating data for the monthly Rig contractor KPI meeting in town. e. Effectively communicate SHE expectations, best practices and lessons learned f. Training development and mentoring rig teams on SHE topics g. Support collaboration across COMPANY operations h. Share safety-related lessons learned (internally) i. Conduct Safety Leadership Workshops offshore j. Lead daily SHE topics, offshore rig quarterly focus topics, and PCAT reviews on daily morning report
k. Leading the Short Service Employee program, identifying best stop card of the day (IIF), Rig of the Quarter preparation l. Use technology to pro-actively drive awareness campaigns and/or materials: e.g. developing onboard awareness videos for topics such as well control, dropped objects, line of fire, human factors, etc. as requested/deemed necessary
**1.2 Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
Sufficient technical expertise, experience in drilling operations and knowledge to impart the specialized Offshore Behaviour Safety Training Services.
- 10+ years in safety-related positions in safety, with oil & gas safety-related experience in drilling operations. COMPANY prefers long term/extensive experience in safety
- related positions
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in rig-based drilling specific Safety Leadership with proven record facilitating startups for offshore projects with proven diverse global experience.
- Trainers should have as minimum qualification of a degree in either Psychology,
Occupational Safety & Health, Social Sciences, Industry award or be able to demonstrate over 10 years’ experience in Safety Leadership training and/or building a safety culture in the Oil & Gas industry (preference to offshore drilling startups).
- Consultants must be fluent in both written and spoken English with a demonstrated ability for report writing and presentation. Trainers must be able to demonstrate sound IT communication skills and use of IT platforms.
- Trainers must have experience and knowledge in OSHA compliance with proven experience reporting in rig operations (Operator& CONTRACTOR).
- Trainers have the rig-based safety knowledge and experience to assist with other safety
- related tasks as requested by the client that may fall outside of the Behavioural
Based Safety training service requirements. Trainers have demonstrable adaptability and experience in multi-skilled initiatives/tasks.
- COMPANY can call upon references supplied by CONTRACTOR from Operator and
Drilling CONTRACTOR companies to support any claims made in the submission.
- Thorough knowledge of safety management systems, processes and safety standards, codes, and practices
- Ability and desire to function and develop successful working relationships with emphasis on effective communications in an integrated team environment
- Effective communicator/influencer that can scale messages across multiple levels, from senior manager to worker
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment, including working in team with diverse cultures
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and strong proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
