**Accountabilities**:

- Assist line manager in implementing Group Security strategic plans and driving high levels of performance within the security operations team to ensure effective security operations across QR Network.
- Contribute to the development of IOC security team objectives and priorities to align with the department and business goals to ensure integrated security checks are in place to maintain operational security.
- Regularly review the security operations departmental objectives, plans, procedures and practices to recommend appropriate changes as needed to ensure efficient and cost effective operations.
- Provide SME guidance to the department to enable QR operations without jeopardizing the safety and security of employees, customers and assets.
- Provide a 24/7 link for operational support, advice and guidance to QR network on airline security matters and when required at Hub.
- Representative of Group Security at the IOC in all security related issues, offer advice on security guidance, and support to improve and maintain security.
- Monitor security intelligence advisories and escalate as and when needed to the security management team.
- Provide security guidance to network stations for the implementation of Enhanced Security Measures (ESM).
- Disseminate security advisories received from the threat and risk team to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure appropriate actions are taken to avoid any breach in security operations.
- Supervise and monitor Breathalyzer Test and Right of Search conducted on crew at QR IOC.
- Handle on a daily basis the security related occurances and reports by liaising with the concerned stations/departments in order to gather necessary information to prepare the "Security Response" to security operational incidents at network stations.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience

**Essential**:

- Good working knowledge of general security operations
- Understanding of airport and airline operations and their security requirements

**Preferred**:

- Aviation regulatory or compliance background

**Job Specific Skills**:

- Ability to manage critical relationships
- Integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to support management of an aviation security regulations team
- Maintains productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders by gaining their trust and respect, in particular with appropriate authorities, airports and other QR stakeholders

- Excellent report writing & presentation skills
