Security Assistant to The Operations Manager

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Assistance with Operations Management**:

- Support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily security operations, ensuring smooth execution of services.
- Assist with scheduling, deployment, and coordination of security staff at various client locations.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, ensuring security teams are meeting client requirements.

**Client Liaison**:

- Communicate with clients to address any concerns or issues related to security services.
- Assist in preparing reports or updates for clients regarding security operations and performance.
- Ensure timely responses to client requests, and escalate issues to the Operations Manager when needed.

**Staff Support**:

- Provide administrative support to security personnel, ensuring they have the necessary tools and information to perform their duties.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new security staff.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, shifts, and other personnel-related matters.

**Compliance and Reporting**:

- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal security regulations.
- Assist in conducting internal audits and inspections to maintain security standards.
- Prepare reports related to incidents, operational performance, and staff performance as required by the Operations Manager.
- Inventory and Equipment Management:

- Track and maintain inventory of security equipment and supplies, ensuring the team has the necessary resources.
- Coordinate the repair or replacement of damaged or outdated equipment.

**General Administrative Tasks**:

- Manage correspondence, documentation, and filing for the security department.
- Assist in preparing operational budgets and cost reports.
- Handle other administrative duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in security management, business administration, or a related field preferred.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in security operations or a related field **is required**.
- Experience in administrative or support roles in a service-based industry is beneficial.

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Familiarity with security protocols, systems, and compliance standards is a plus.

**Other Requirements**:

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily office-based with occasional site visits to client locations.
- Fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and adaptability.
