The Restaurant Manager oversees all aspects of the Asian fusion restaurant's operations, with a primary focus on Thai cuisine. They are responsible for managing staff, maintaining quality standards, optimizing profits, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Previous experience working in Asian restaurants, particularly with Thai cuisine, is essential for this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Staff Management**:

- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff with a strong understanding of Asian cooking techniques, particularly Thai cuisine.
- Schedule shifts effectively to ensure optimal staffing levels and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, efficiency, and high-quality service.

**Customer Service**:

- Ensure exceptional customer service experiences by maintaining high standards of hospitality and food quality.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, leveraging cultural sensitivity and understanding.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience, such as personalized service and cultural authenticity.

**Operations Management**:

- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including kitchen management, food preparation, and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of Thai ingredients and specialty items, coordinating with suppliers to ensure availability and freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards in both front and back-of-house areas.

**Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage budgets, analyzing financial performance and implementing cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
- Monitor food costs, pricing strategies, and menu engineering to optimize revenue while preserving authenticity and value for customers.
- Implement efficient POS systems and accounting procedures to track sales, expenses, and inventory accurately.

**Menu Development and Quality Control**:

- Collaborate with chefs and culinary staff to develop, refine, and innovate Thai-inspired dishes and Asian fusion offerings.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion sizes, adhering to traditional Thai cooking techniques and flavor profiles.
- Conduct regular menu evaluations and updates based on customer feedback, market trends, and seasonal ingredients.

**Marketing and Promotions**:

- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract diverse audiences, including local communities, tourists, and enthusiasts of Asian cuisine.
- Utilize digital platforms, social media, and community engagement initiatives to promote the restaurant's unique offerings and cultural experiences.
- Plan and coordinate special events, themed nights, and promotions to drive traffic and enhance brand visibility.

**Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, permits, and licensing requirements, including food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to Asian cuisine, Thai ingredients, and culinary traditions.
- Maintain cultural sensitivity and awareness in all aspects of operations, respecting Thai customs, traditions, and culinary heritage.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in Asian restaurants, particularly with Thai cuisine, is essential.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
- In-depth knowledge of Thai cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles, as well as Asian fusion cuisine trends and innovations.
- Proven ability to manage diverse teams, multitask effectively, and adapt to dynamic operational environments.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, POS systems, and inventory management tools.
- Education or certifications in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related fields are advantageous.

**Working Conditions**:
