Hvac Engineer

**Job Title: HVAC Engineer (with ATTMA Expertise) - Oil and Gas Industry**

**Responsibilities**:
**Design and Engineering**: Develop HVAC systems for marine vessels that meet air tightness standards in line with ATTMA guidelines, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.

**Air Tightness Testing**: Conduct air tightness tests on shipboard HVAC systems using ATTMA methodologies to identify leaks and improve system integrity.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**: Analyze air tightness test results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for design improvements or repairs to enhance system performance. Can create procedure based on required specification from client

**Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure that HVAC designs and installations comply with maritime regulations, including SOLAS and MARPOL, as well as ATTMA standards.

**Troubleshooting and Maintenance**: Provide technical support for troubleshooting HVAC issues on vessels, including performance assessments and recommendations for maintenance practices.

**Project Management**:

- Manage HVAC-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and performance standards are met.
- Prepared to work with HVAC vendors and perform room leak test

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in HVAC engineering within the marine industry, with a focus on air tightness testing.

**Certification**: ATTMA certification or equivalent expertise in air tightness testing preferred.

**Technical Skills**: Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with air tightness testing equipment and methodologies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month

- HVAC ENGINEER WITH ATTMA CERTIFICATE: 5 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- ATTMA CERTIFICATE (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
