Ensures all technical requirements such as tank specifications, data sheets, design and construction procedures, etc. developed during EPC fully comply with project requirements and EPC schedules.
- The position is based in Project Offices in Ras Laffan Industrial City.
- This position is responsible to ensure all technical activities associated with the LNG Tank design and execution by the EPC contractor, including third parties such as vendors, consultants, sub-contractors etc are executed to Project’s specifications and COMPANY requirements.
- This could involve technical evaluations, including risk based evaluation of technical issues, resolution of LNG tank related matters with significant project execution and/or commercial impact to ensure optimum outcomes that meet technical and execution expectations.
- Major challenges include (1) effectively managing EPC contract with focus on LNG tank design and field engineering to deliver the finished product upto Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) in accordance with specifications and project requirements. (2) maintaining constructive working relationship with EPC contractor to ensure delivery of tank workscope in accordance with project requirements and (3) maintaining relationships with Operations and other COMPANY functions with regards to existing tank operations.
- Delivering this key EPC2 LNG Tank work scope on time.
- Work activities will occur in multiple site locations
- Work activities and execution in a brownfield environment
- Operates in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment which requires professional conduct and proper office protocol.

**About this role**
- Responsible for overseeing all engineering aspects of LNG Storage Tanks with the EPC Contractor including design, materials, equipment, fabrication and execution.
- Provide clear guidance to the EPC contractor and facilitate resolution of all technical issues associated with the LNG tanks design and construction to meet project objectives and milestones.
- Responsible for reviewing, endorsing or approving technical documents, procedures, specifications/exceptions, field design changes etc related to LNG tanks

**What you need to bring**
- Excellent written and oral English skills.
- Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills.
- Strong technical, prioritization and management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs, etc.
- Experience working in multicultural environments
- Good communication, influencing and interface skills.
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience at a senior engineering or advisory level with specific knowledge in LNG tank technology and design and a broad knowledge of engineering execution of onshore LNG facilities design, construction and operations.
- Familiarity and knowledgeable in applicable industry codes and practises eg. API 625 & 620 & ACI 376
