**About the role**:
As a Porterage supervisor you will be responsible for supervising all porterage service activities along with a team inclusive of Lead Porters, Porter Agents, and Ground Handling Agents on shift basis, to provide quality services to internal and external customers as well as maintain on time performance of the team during operations.

You will be also responsible for, but not limited to:
- Coordinate and cooperate with Supervisors of other sections to ensure smooth functioning of the department's operations with regard to counters, baggage section, VIP terminal, QROC.- Keep track of baggage trolleys and send damaged trolleys to maintenance department in order to keep count of the same.- Control and coordinate all porterage handling activities, in order to ensure services are delivered as per stipulated international/local standards within the established precision timings.- Ensure proper planning and controlling for the activities and manpower within the shift to meet the operational requirement and optimize utilization.- Prepare following reports and take necessary action as and when required:
- Day-to-day incident reports-
- Manual time sheet, sick and absenteeism reports-
- Reports regarding damaged trolleys.-
- Monitor porter charges collected by the Porters in order to keep track of collection.- Keep the control & track of contractual employee attendance in order to coordinate with finance / stakeholders with regards to payment processes / billing & invoices correspondences.

Qualifications

**About you**:
To be eligible for this role you should have High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with minimum 3 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 2 years of job-related experience.

You should have good command of English language, experience in MS Office Suite, and have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Completed Basic Customer Services Courses, Airport procedures, Dangerous Goods for Passenger Handling and Ramp Safety Awareness.

Command over spoken and written Arabic would be an added advantage.
