Qu'il s'occupe de la promotion des services de spa ou de la vente de détail, de la prise des réservations et de la confirmation des rendez-vous, de répondre aux questions sur les services, de l'enregistrement des clients ou du traitement des paiements, le spécialiste de spa fait en sorte que le client sente que les transactions font partie de l'expérience.

Peu importe votre poste, certaines choses sont essentielles pour réussir - la création d'un lieu de travail sécuritaire, le respect des politiques et des procédures de la société, le respect des normes de qualité et veiller à ce que votre uniforme, votre apparence personnelle et vos communications soient professionnels. Le rôle du spécialiste de spa signifie être sur vos pieds et vous déplacer (se lever, s’asseoir ou marcher pendant une longue période de temps); se déplacer sur des surfaces en pente, inégales ou glissantes; gérer le logiciel de réservations (lire et vérifier l'information visuellement), et mettre la main à la pâte dans votre travail (déplacer, soulever, porter, pousser, tirer et placer des objets pesant jusqu’à 10 livres (4,5 kg) sans assistance et 25 livres (11,4 kg) avec assistance; atteindre les objets au-dessus de la tête et au-dessous des genoux, y compris se plier, faire des rotations du corps, tirer et se baisser). Il est essentiel que les spécialistes de spa exécutent toutes ces tâches à la perfection (et toute autre tâche raisonnable qui leur est assignée) - ainsi, nos clients seront toujours satisfaits et notre entreprise continuera de prospérer.
