Due to a forecasted increase in a portfolio of projects, we are seeking Senior Project Manager - Transport Planning, to be an integral part of the transport planning growth strategy in Qatar. We strive for individuals who are able to make a difference to the way we do things, who can provide inspirational leadership and drive business development and operational excellence. As Senior Project Manager - Public Transport Planning, you will be in a position to develop and grow the transport Planning business in Qatar.

You will be a manage projects and perform technical work that involves conventional transportation planning and/or traffic engineering practices, and a variety of complex issues such as transportation safety, multimodal planning, and innovative technologies. Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Oversee and manage a comprehensive public transport master plan for a city or region.
- Manage large transportation planning studies including multimodal corridor planning studies, Planning and Environmental Linkages Studies, and Transportation Master Plans.
- Manage projects that include traffic simulation and capacity analysis as a primary task.
- Coordinate and participate in contract negotiations with clients and subconsultants.
- Conduct quality control reviews.
- As a project manager, monitor scopes, schedules, and budgets, and review and approve invoicing.
- Maintain frequent contact with clients and regulatory agency personnel to determine their respective needs and requirements.
- Supervise other project managers, technical professionals and other design staff.
- Mentor junior staff through projects and career development.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Managed Public Transport Master Plan studies.
- Speaking Arabic and English.
- Transportation planning and/or traffic engineering background required.
- Experience with traffic simulation and travel demand forecasting software programs.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor scopes, schedules, and budgets, manage subconsultants, and review and approve invoicing interest as a project manager.
- Understanding of transit, bicycle, and pedestrian planning and design principals.
- Proven ability to develop high quality work products.
- Solid business development skills: demonstrated ability to relate well to clients, demonstrated presentation skills, and ability to write proposals,
- Private sector experience is desired. Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- You will be experienced in client facing with good communication, marketing, sales and leadership skills.
