**Operations Compliance Manager - Transportation, Safety and Environment**

**About the role**

You will responsible for providing an innovative, effective and efficient Operational Compliance Program including HS&E and data protection. At all times carrying out the duties and responsibilities in line with the Qatar Airways Policies and external regulatory requirements as they pertain to operations. It will be necessary to work with Corporate Services operational teams (residential, commercial, projects and transportation) CS information technology, contractors, and corporate management.

**Accountabilities**:
Strengthen the Governance framework by undertaking following:

- Carry out risk assessment and compliance reviews to identify any control gaps and accordingly implement mitigating controls.
- Partner in developing and implementing Compliance Program and Management System, including coaching of internal stakeholders
- Implement controls within processes for continuous monitoring and tracking of any deviation(s).
- Stay abreast of the Regulatory and Standards requirement and cascade awareness of same within operations.
- Act as a liaison with Government Authorities on behalf of Qatar Airways.
- Perform periodic controls assessment reviews to ensure their relevance and effectiveness.
- Conduct 3rd party audits and inspections to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory obligations.
- Closely work with Standards and Risk Manager to ensure divisional policies and procedures are kept up to date.
- Carry out investigations and present findings and recommendations with corrective and preventive actions with timely follow up.
- Perform other department related duties as directed by Line Management.

Qualifications

**About you**

You will possess:

- Minimum 7 years of relevant job experience in Compliance, Internal Audit and Consulting.
- Relevant University qualifications.
- Experience in concluding investigations.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Exposure to diverse and multicultural environment.
- Knowledge and awareness of relevant regulatory requirements and Standards.
- Compliance certification(s) preferred.
