**Position Title**: Bilingual English Teacher (Arabic to English)

**Location**: ETIC Managerial Training Centre, Madinat Khalifa South, Doha, Qatar

**Employment Type**: Full-Time or Part Time

**Reports To**: Executive Director and Operations Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instruction**:

- Teach English language courses to Arabic-speaking students, ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that utilize a variety of teaching methods and strategies to cater to the diverse learning styles of students.
- Conduct classes in a bilingual setting, ensuring clarity and comprehension for students transitioning from Arabic to English.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Design, implement, and evaluate curriculum and instructional materials that support language acquisition and literacy in English.
- Integrate cultural and linguistic understanding into the curriculum to enhance students' learning experience.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Assess students' progress through a variety of assessment methods, including tests, quizzes, oral presentations, and written assignments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and areas for improvement.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to foster a respectful and orderly learning atmosphere.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and bilingual teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and insights for effective bilingual education.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues in both Arabic and English.
- Serve as a liaison between the school and the Arabic-speaking community, providing support and resources as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree or teaching certification is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a bilingual or multicultural environment.
- Proven experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages, particularly Arabic speakers.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Certifications**:

- TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification is highly desirable.

**Work Environment**:

- **School Setting**:

- The position involves working in a classroom setting, interacting with students, teachers, and parents.
- Occasional after-hours work may be required for parent-teacher meetings, school events, or professional development sessions.
