**Role Accountabilities**
- Capacity Analysis and Forecasting:

- Conduct comprehensive capacity assessments for telecom sites and data centers, analyzing current utilization levels and forecasting future demand.
- Utilize data analytics and modeling techniques to identify capacity constraints, trends, and growth projections, enabling proactive planning and resource allocation.
- Infrastructure Planning and Optimization:

- Develop and implement capacity planning strategies to optimize infrastructure resources, including power, cooling, space, and ELV systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions that meet performance, reliability, and efficiency requirements.
- Demand Management and Requirements Gathering:

- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, network planning, and business units, to understand capacity requirements and business drivers.
- Conduct regular capacity planning meetings to gather input, prioritize initiatives, and align capacity expansion efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
- Project Management and Execution:

- Lead capacity expansion projects from inception to completion, including project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of capacity upgrades while minimizing disruptions to operations.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with capacity planning initiatives, such as equipment procurement lead times, regulatory constraints, and budget constraints.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address unforeseen obstacles and ensure project success.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

- Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate capacity trends, status updates, and project milestones to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Technology Evaluation and Innovation:

- Evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies for capacity optimization and scalability, recommending adoption where appropriate.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecom Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. **Master's degree preferred**.
- Proven experience in capacity planning, infrastructure management, or data center operations, preferably in the telecommunications or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications and data center infrastructure, including power systems, cooling systems, network architecture, and hardware components.
- Proficiency in capacity planning methodologies, data analysis techniques, and modeling tools.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to capacity planning, infrastructure design, and data center operations.

Certifications in project management, capacity planning, or data center design (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CDCP) are a plus.
