**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and documents to maintain accuracy
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue payments.
- Issue invoices and manage billing cycles, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to clients.
- Maintain records of all customer payments and communicate with customers regarding any payment issues.
- Prepare monthly receivables aging reports for management review.
- Process vendor invoices and payments in accordance with company policies and agreed payment terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or disputes promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payable transactions.
- Prepare and distribute weekly or monthly accounts payable reports.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company’s annual budget.
- Track and analyze actual expenses against budgeted figures, identifying variances and providing insights to management.
- Support department heads in developing and managing their departmental budgets.
- Prepare budget reports and forecasts for management review.
- Process monthly payroll and ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Coordinate with the HR department to ensure timely and accurate processing of new hires, terminations, and other employee status changes.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in financial planning and analysis activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide financial data and insights to management for decision-making purposes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
