**Job Overview**:
The Standalone VR & Snooker/Pool Table In-charge is responsible for managing the operations and maintenance of both the virtual reality (VR) gaming section and the snooker/pool table areas. The role includes overseeing equipment functionality, ensuring safety standards, providing excellent customer service, and organizing gaming events. The in-charge person is also responsible for coordinating with staff, handling technical issues, and creating a fun, engaging environment for customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operations Management**:

- Oversee the daily operations of both the VR gaming area and the snooker/pool tables.
- Ensure all VR equipment (headsets, controllers) and snooker/pool tables are in optimal working condition.
- Manage scheduling and booking of VR sessions and pool/snooker tables to avoid overcrowding and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Enforce rules and regulations for both gaming areas to ensure smooth and fair play.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers, explaining the VR games and pool/snooker game rules.
- Provide guidance to customers on how to properly use VR headsets, equipment, and snooker/pool tables.
- Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Foster a positive and friendly atmosphere for both VR and snooker/pool enthusiasts.
- **Equipment Management**:

- Perform regular checks, calibration, and maintenance of VR systems, controllers, and headsets.
- Maintain the pool/snooker tables, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained (cues, balls, and table surfaces).
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with VR equipment or pool/snooker gear.
- Organize equipment, ensuring all necessary tools and accessories are readily available.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure customer safety while using the VR systems by providing detailed instructions on safety protocols.
- Supervise snooker/pool areas to prevent accidents and ensure all players are following safety guidelines.
- Enforce proper sanitization and cleanliness of shared equipment, especially in the VR zone.
- **Staff Supervision**:

- Train and supervise additional support staff (if applicable) for both VR and snooker/pool operations.
- Organize staff schedules and assign responsibilities to ensure full coverage of both areas during peak hours.
- Provide performance feedback and guidance to staff members to ensure high-quality customer service.
- **Event Coordination**:

- Plan and organize tournaments, special events, or private sessions for both VR and snooker/pool games.
- Collaborate with customers to create customized events, such as corporate team-building exercises or birthday parties.
- **Reporting and Inventory**:

- Maintain an inventory of VR equipment (headsets, controllers) and pool/snooker supplies (cues, balls, chalk).
- Keep track of daily usage, revenue, and any incidents in both gaming sections.
- Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to upper management and take immediate action when necessary.
- **Marketing and Promotion**:

- Assist in promoting VR and snooker/pool events, offers, and experiences through local marketing and social media channels.
- Engage with customers to encourage repeat visits and membership programs for both the VR and pool/snooker areas.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in gaming, hospitality, or management is a plus).
- Prior experience working with VR systems, snooker/pool tables, or in a gaming center environment is preferred.
- Technical aptitude for VR hardware/software and pool/snooker table maintenance.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment and ensure customer satisfaction.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers of all ages.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills, particularly with VR equipment and gaming consoles.
- Experience with snooker/pool gameplay and rules is preferred.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Attention to detail, especially regarding safety protocols and equipment maintenance.
