**Position Summary**:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior Barista with a strong interest in specialty coffee to join our team. As a Junior Barista, you will assist in the preparation and delivery of exceptional coffee beverages, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer service. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about coffee, eager to learn, and looking to develop their skills in the specialty coffee industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and alternative brewing methods, according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure the freshness, quality, and consistency of coffee by accurately measuring and grinding beans, monitoring extraction times, and adjusting variables as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, and offering product recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee equipment, brewing tools, and serving areas, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels by monitoring stock, replenishing supplies, and notifying the manager of any shortages or equipment issues.
- Participate in training sessions to expand knowledge of coffee origins, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles, and share this knowledge with customers.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service during peak hours.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash register.
- Uphold the company's values, brand image, and commitment to sustainability in all interactions with customers and coworkers.
- Continuously strive for personal growth and improvement by seeking feedback, attending coffee-related events, and staying updated on industry trends.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong interest in specialty coffee, including knowledge of different coffee origins, brewing methods, and latte art.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing customer demands.
