About your job
You will assist line manager in daily operations of the Lounge Gym facilities by providing general assistance in maintaining the Gym equipment to ensure safe, professional, effective and quality functioning of fitness programs. This role is based in HIA Lounges at Hamad International Airport, Doha.
**Job Description**:
- Carry out fitness testing, evaluations, and program design and fitness instructions to ensure a proper program is available for all customers.
- Assist line manager in conducting the aerobics/exercise programs by ensuring participants are aware of the programs and necessary arrangements are available within the gym facilities.
- Receive customers and guests in a friendly manner and provide personalised services, including showing them around to ensure they feel comfortable in the gym facilities.
- Perform administrative duties as needed or any fitness related procedures, programs and activities in the lounge.
- Ensure sufficient supplies are available at all times such as water, drinking cups, towels and first aid equipment at the gym facilities.
- Look after supplies and equipment needed for continued operation of the gym and report line manager on any malfunctioning equipment.
- Ensure gym facility’s cleanliness and maintenance is as per cleaning standards at all times and comply with the lounge environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist HIA Lounges/Spa Manager to achieve assigned KPI’s related to gym by holding direct interactions with them.
- Inform line manager regarding customer feedback to ensure all complaints are notified for necessary action.
- Report any incidences/accidents to the HIA Lounges/ Spa Manager.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
- This role is permanently based in Doha, is a uniform and a shift based role.
