**Description**

**About the role**:
Hamad International Airport is seeking a highly skilled and creative individual to join our team as Lead Desktop Publishing Officer. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in wide variety of creative graphical artworks and minor improvement projects. The role is also responsible for producing graphical representations layouts that are detailed enough to be included in training procedure and tender documentation:

- Use multiple desktop publishing programs (Adobe Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop etc.) to design digital signage, static signage, artwork for EVIDS (Electronic Video Information Display System), maps, forms, newsletters, brochure, charts, reports, and graphical presentations.
- Prepare preliminary architectural drawings, using AutoCAD for installations projects.
- Meeting with internal clients and adjusting design to fit their needs or taste in order to ensure project requirements are met.
- Cost design projects ahead of time to deliver design and graphics underestimated budget cost.
- Provide design and artistic guidance for print and digital graphic design projects within HIA Operations.

**Qualifications**

**About you**:

- Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s level or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years graphic design or similar
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment which is totally customer focused and able to achieve results quickly
- Advanced skills level using Adobe Creative Suite software to include Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Advanced skill level using AutoCAD for drawings design.
- Advanced skill level using PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Visual Communication - requires the ability to effectively present ideas both verbally and visually.
- Certification in Adobe Creative Suite software and CAD
- Having a design portfolio of previous work
