**Catering Procurement/Purchase: Roles and Responsiblities**
- Directs and coordinates activities of the department
- Set up, initiate, and maintain professional relationships with the supplier network.
- Manage supplier’s relationship : price negotiation, planning, inventory & quality control.
- Negotiate contracts to achieve best value.
- Plans, organize, direct and controls activities related to the procurement function by implementing strategies and forecast procurement needs.
- Achieve raw material cost reduction targets as agreed with the business.
- Undertake value for money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements.
- Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
- Ensure suppliers are aware of business objectives.
- Keep up to date with trends and innovations, regulation and new technology that can impact on the business.
- Organizes, coordinate, supervises, and directs the work of the team engaged in requesting, delivering and receiving of supplies and equipment.
- Recommend continuous improvements to purchasing systems and procedures.
- Analyses market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepares market analysis reports.
- Develop effective risk management strategies for key suppliers and key products to keep the minimum stock available all times in all projects.
- Develops a system to evaluate vendor quotations that utilizes appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery and service including after sales service, warranties and DLP.
- Designs, implements, manage, and monitor procurement reporting systems to meet higher. Management requirements.
- Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price. while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
- Prepares and reviews contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.
- Manage preparation and issuance of purchase orders after reviews of PR’s and contracts for conformance to company policy.
- Oversees all activities related to procurement of catering projects, from intent to purchase through delivery of goods and equipments.
- Assigns procurement requests to the appropriate personnel.
- Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services. from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor warehouses and stores ensuring availability of inventories as per project volume and contractual obligations and arranges for synergies of surplus materials between stores.
- Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.
- Liaise with Finance, Treasury, accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier.
- Develop sourcing strategies for different categories of spend and deliver cost savings and improved operational performance.
- Together with GM and Finance, develop suitable KPIs to manage agreed Cost, Quality and Delivery objectives.

**Salary**: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
