**Successful applicants must have**:

- The confidence to lead the Secondary School when deputising for the Head of Secondary
- Be able to build professional trust as a senior leader;
- Work well with our multicultural community. It will be essential to be flexible, positive, kind, and willing to lead change.
- Proven track record of experience in exam management and planning, time table coordination, quality assurance of teaching and learning, and data analysis within an academic setting.
- Contribute to the quality of relationships at all levels in the school and with stakeholders.
- Be able to deliver high-quality lessons (there will be a small teaching allocation).
- Be aware of best pedagogical practice to support the continual improvement of the Secondary Section.
- Experience of international accreditation processes would be advantageous.

Doha British School Ain Khaled, was founded in 1997 and is a private co-educational day school for students from Foundation Stage to Year 13, offering the National Curriculum of England and the IB programme. Students follow the English Early Years Foundation Stage, the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and at Key Stage 4 a comprehensive range of IGCSE courses. At Post-16 the school is the only school in Qatar to offer 4 different pathways for our Post 16 provision, which include AS, A level, BTEC and the IB Diploma programme.

Doha British Schools has continuously expanded its educational offerings, driven by its exceptional reputation. This growth journey began with the establishment of the Al Wakra campus in 2014 and further expanded with the opening of the Rawdat Al Hamama campus in 2022, which offers outstanding education for students.
