Insurance Officer

Gather and collate all the original claim forms monthly.
- Will be in charge in doing claims approval, claims submission and claims reconciliation.
- Scan all the reviewed claims monthly for coding and claim submission of insurance companies read and analyze patient records (to determine patient's history, including diagnosis and treatment given)
- Encode and code all the patient data collected to MDS/excel sheet format provided by the insurance companies.
- Reconcile all the data from the system and the data gathered with original claims
- Maintain safe and clean Immigration & Insurance Department reception area by complying with procedure, rules, and regulations
- Participate and cooperate in training new staff in procedures and in use of current software facilitate the release of reports to clients accurately
- Initiate and maintain security by following procedures in gathering patient's information using their identification cards or other reference with confidential medical files and records report any discrepancy with the supervisor/manager
- Review all the data from the MDS/Excel sheet once the claims are reconciled
- Submit all the original claim forms to the manager prepare the excel sheet or patient data for claims submission
- create and facilitate client's details and service record using computer software according to the request from provider,
- Collect process payment according to the department's protocol interview patients to complete form documents and case history request supplies and maintain files complete record
- Report and other statistical information for master file, data base establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments maintain positive working relationship among medical and non-medical staff responsible in resolving client's problems,
- Reports to manager for any unsolved issues maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
- Check all medical files before submission complete and checks insurance claim forms for monthly submission determine and establishes office procedures and routines allocate subordinate's work according to departmental needs
