Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Subsea Marine Safety Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment on offshore subsea pipeline projects.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective safety management systems to mitigate risks associated with subsea pipeline operations.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Collaborate with project teams to identify and address potential safety hazards.
  4. Provide training and guidance to personnel on safe work practices and procedures.
  5. Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  6. Maintain accurate records of safety performance and report trends to stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (safety, marine engineering, science, or related subject) with industrial safety certification from a professional body (NEBOSH).
  2. At least 10 years of experience in safety operations within the oil and gas industry, including offshore/subsea pipeline installation/diving operations.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity of health and safety management, with specific experience in managing EPCI-type contracts.
  4. Knowledge and proficiency in HSE regulations and best practices (OSHA, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, SOLAS IMCA requirements).
